New Delhi, India – Sandeep Marwah, the Chair for Indo UK Film and Cultural Forum, extends his warmest congratulations to Prince Charles and the people of the United Kingdom on the occasion of his coronation ceremony. The coronation of Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms, was held on May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey. This historic event marks the first British monarch coronation in the 21st century and the 40th to be held at Westminster Abbey since William the Conqueror’s coronation in 1066. Sandeep Marwah also highlighted the strong and enduring relationship between India and the United Kingdom. The two countries share deep cultural ties, and this momentous occasion provides an opportunity to strengthen and deepen those ties further. The Chair for Indo UK Film and Cultural Forum believes that the coronation of King Charles III marks a new era in the relationship between the two countries and is confident that it will lead to greater collaboration and cooperation in various fields.
