Leg exercises are a fundamental piece of any rec center daily schedule. Building strong legs not only makes you look better, but it also improves your athletic performance and functional strength as a whole. You can perform the following efficient leg exercises at the gym: Squats: Stand with feet shoulder-width separated and toes marginally pointed outward. Bring down your hips back and down as though you are sitting in a seat, keeping your chest up and center locked in. Maintain good form as you go as low as you can, ideally until your thighs are parallel to the ground. Push through your heels to get back to the beginning position. Leg Press: Sit on the leg press machine with your feet shoulder-width separated on the stage. Bring down the load by twisting your knees until they are at a 90-degree point. While fully extending your legs and not locking your knees, push the platform away. Gradually lower the load back to the beginning position. | |
