RSS Grade RSS3 Price Drops in Ahmedabad Market | |
Ahmedabad, June 17, 2025 – The price of Ribbed Smoked Sheet (RSS) Grade RSS3 declined by Rs.3 per kilogram in the Ahmedabad market. The rate fell from Rs.160/kg on June 16 to Rs.157/kg on June 17. The decline stems from sluggish procurement by downstream rubber goods manufacturers and the automotive tyre industry, which is currently facing inventory corrections and slower OEM production. Additionally, a rise in domestic arrivals and steady imports from Southeast Asia has led to oversupply in regional markets. The bearish tone in global natural rubber futures, especially from Thailand and Malaysia, continues to weigh on local sentiment. According to traders, bulk buyers are deferring purchases, expecting further softening, while exports remain limited due to global demand concerns.
