Escape tribulation? | |
Will some escape the tribulation of the Antichrist? Why does He tell us to put on His whole armor? [Ephesians 6, verses 13 and 16 are very informative]. What happens if you don't take on the whole armor of God? What does history say about Christian people. Did Jesus carry them to Heaven when they were in trouble? How about the Christians in the Coliseum in Rome when families were being eaten by lions? If believers were gonna be raptured away, it was at those events. There are many more examples to include: Noah and his family, 3 Hebrew children in fiery furnace, Israelites in captivity for 400 years in Egypt. What about the Christian families in Africa and the Middle East today who are being driven from their homes or raped and murdered by Muslim fanatics? Are they less worthy than any other Christian? Have any of these people been raptured out? Most have no idea what the great tribulation actually is, they are just afraid and don't want to endure it. To cling to a doctrine which does not lie clearly in the Scriptures, and, at the same time, ignore the history of Christian people, can only be explained by the working of deception. Who is the deceiver? Deceiver is one of Satan's many names and roles. Remember, Satan has no actual power, except in specific instances when Christ sees it will further the work of Christ. He must work by deception, as he is doing today with the lawless-grace and escape-by rapture teachings [from the pulpit]. Satan uses our fervent desires to defeat us, similar to Judo techniques. Satan helps us defeat ourselves. When we desire something fervently [afraid] we are a candidate for satanic deception [we become easily deceived]. When we do not put everyone and everything on the altar, do not give everything to Christ to do with as He will, do not place all of our treasures in Heaven, we are opening ourselves to deception, big time. As it was in the days of Noe [Noah], so it shall be just before the real Christ returns. People will be buying and selling, marrying and giving in marriage. Who is being talked about here? [Fallen angels and humans]. What are we to do? We are to step into the Ark. Christ is our Ark. We are to fix our eyes on the Lord Jesus. We are to abide in Him, which is to abide under the shadow of the Almighty. We are to do that today, not wait until everyone is panicked and running around trying to find help. See Psalms 34:4-14, 91:5, 112:7; Isaiah 26:3; Mark 13:13 [Endure to the end and be saved. What happens if you don't endure to the end]? Luke 21:19 [What happens to you if you are not patient]? Take the time now, in these days of relative quiet for most of us, to study the above verses. You can cling to them as end times approach. But remember: they are effective only as long as you [fear] revere, obey and trust the Lord. They do not work if all you do is say "I accept Christ," and then live your own life as before. See Isaiah 29:13 and Matthew 7:21-23 [not a good position to be in]. Bring the presence of Christ into everything you think, say, and do. Christianity is infinitely more than just a religion [set of mans rituals, doctrines and commandments of men]; it is a reality. It is Jesus Christ Himself. He is the Tree of Life. The Throne of God is in Him. Out from Him flows the water of life. We in America may pride ourselves on being tolerant of other religions. That certainly is better than being hateful and belligerent toward those of other persuasions. But I will assure you, there is only one true God and Jesus Christ is His Son. Study continuously! ![]() | |
