The Hampta Pass Trek was no less than magical. I had heard about dramatic changes in the landscape, but it was real to see it for the first time. We started in the green valleys of Manali, passing through the cedar forests and feeding the grasslands. As we climbed, everything changed- a snow-covered pass, a rocky area, and finally, the barren beauty of the Spiti Valley. It felt like crossing into a separate planet. It was made even more special, it was that it was yet visually surprising to adapt to the beginning. I still scroll through my photos and give relief to every day of travel.  | |
