Ahmedabad, June 18, 2025 – The price of Cast Polypropylene (CPP) Transparent Film, Grade 25 Micron, has increased by ₹3 per kilogram in the Ahmedabad market. On June 17, the film was priced at Rs.145/kg, which rose to Rs.148/kg on June 18. The price rise is mainly attributed to increased demand from the flexible packaging, FMCG, snack food, and agricultural wrapping sectors. A marginal hike in polypropylene granule prices, coupled with firming freight rates and rising operational costs, is also contributing to the upward pricing pressure. Packaging converters are actively restocking in anticipation of stronger demand in the second half of the year, particularly from the food and festive packaging segments.
